The 1460 is the original Dr. Martens with 8 holes and the recognizable yellow stitching and detachable inner sole from gel.
Greasy is a softer leather with an oily-finish, which is why these boots feel a bit wax-like instead of soft and smooth.
Some technical details: The airwair sole is oil and fat resistant and have a good grip. They have a goodyear edge on the sole, meaning that the shoe and the sole are stitched together while being heated. So they are not glued! With these shoes, you can take over the world!
